Curriculum Details

The Flow Coach Accreditation, Level 1, consists of over 40 hours of face-to-face sessions and 25+ hours of self-paced learning. It includes everything you need to know and all the experience you need to be a competent coach. The course is typically delivered over 8 sessions within 3 months; it can be delivered as an intense cohort for groups.

The course meets the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Level 1 training accreditation requirements for 63.5 hours of coach training. This is enough training for your ICF ACC qualification . For more information about ICF certification standards see here.

This course is delivered in English and there are no prerequisite requirements or qualifications for course entry. Though we do run interviews to ensure that you are a good fit.

The Flow Coach Accreditation is facilitated by our training director and guest speakers who are experts in their field. This course includes content from postgraduate coaching, psychology, NLP, counselling, and neuroscience courses.

You will get constant practical feedback in almost every session. You will be coaching others from day 1, practicing what you are learning and embedding your new-found skills.  

The course typically runs twice a year, every May and October.

What is a Flow Coach?

Flow Coaching is a subset of coaching, specifically focused on the optimal functioning in teams and individuals. Flow Coaches are responsible for ensuring people and teams can flourish.


A Flow Coach is a professionally trained and accredited Flow Coach who helps organisations, teams, and individuals adopt flow principles and values through integrating flow practices and methods.

What does a Flow Coach do?

A Flow Coach is a trained flow specialist who facilitates the achievement of client-led goals and solutions, whilst maintaining a coaching and flow approach.

Cameron is a world-renowned flow trainer, coach, and author.

Cameron has been a junior British tennis player, awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement Prize for reports surrounding flow and performance, and is a world renowned coach, having worked with numerous World Champions and high-profile leaders. Fascinated by optimal experience, Cameron founded the Flow Centre to bridge science and practice of flow to give people the tools to manifest the life they have always dreamed of.



Sue is a flow scientist, sport psychologist, and author.

Sue has been involved in the psychology of flow since completing a PhD on flow state in elite athletes in the early 1990s. Sue is one of the most cited authors on flow, including creating the FSS scales that are widely used to measure flow. Sue’s work in flow has helped to make this optimal psychological state understandable and more accessible to all.

Is it worth the money? You bet. Investing in yourself is sometimes hard to do, but this course content has helped many others start careers, improve their relationships, become better leaders, advance their current job performance, and transform their overall life skills and satisfaction levels. At US$10,995 (est. €9825/£8263/AU$14695) this course is very good value for money and comparable to similar courses in the market. Typically, you get what you pay for, and this course is no different. It is important to assess the trainers and coaches on the course as you will likely do this training only once. The quality of your coach training will determine your ability, confidence, network, contacts, and skills you possess when you start coaching.

Cancellation and Withdrawing Policy Refunds will not be permitted after the course has commenced. Withdrawal will be at the participants cost. If the withdrawal is due to the fault of the Flow Centre, then a refund minus deposit and percentage of course undertaken will occur. Cancellation within 30 days of course commencement result in a 50% refund. Cancellation within 31-60 days of course commencement result in a 70% refund. Cancellation more than 60 days of course commencement result in a 100% refund. If you do not pass the course requirements (i.e., coaching competence) and performance evaluation, additional attempts to pass the performance evaluation will be billed at US$350 (Includes thorough feedback and performance evaluation). If you have to pull out of the course due to unforeseen circumstances, we will place you on the next course for unfinished components of the course. Course graduation and accreditation will not be distributed until all course components are met.

Do I still have access to the course after I’m finished? Absolutely. You leave the course with a large course manual that you can use for years to come. Further you can continue to engage with FC coaches long after the course. Many trainee coaches now work with FC and enjoy FC supervision, ongoing training updates, and much more.

Can I do this course whilst working full time? Absolutely, most people do. You will need to dedicate a lot of time, however, to completing the components of the course; it is recommended that you plan your time wisely.

Do I have to practice every day? No. In the course we will set some new positive habits for you to engage with. For maximum benefit, we recommend that you integrate the skills learnt on the course into your daily life straight away. Put simply, the more you practice these tasks, the more your awareness will grow and the deeper your training will become—but daily participation is not compulsory.

Do I get a certificate? Yes. You will get a diploma by the Flow Centre, and you will also be able to apply for ICF accreditation with over 143 hours of coach training.

How do I secure my place on the course? 20% of the course fee is required to secure your deposit and place on the course. Full payment is due 60 days prior to course commencement.

Can I upgrade to LEVEL 2 after this course? Yes you can. It is financially much more economical to commit to LEVEL 2 straight away, but you can graduate form LEVEL 1 and then do LEVEL 2 straight afterwards or another year.
